I cannot choose FR5 scratch thresholds from these moving bright bands

The same polished cover gets a different scratch arrow after each reseat in our proposed FR5 camera setup. I want quality to identify the actual surface condition on retained parts, then compare the holder and lighting with accepted and rejected examples. What should I keep visible in that reference set?
