Trim-plate reject folder without rejected trim plates

Our UR5e inspection proposal includes a folder of brushed-trim images called scratch rejects. I asked to see the plates and was given clean stock from the same delivery, not the photographed pieces. Bright lines change between the images, but there is no physical inspection decision attached. Can a supplier reasonably tune against this folder, or should I insist that we first photograph identified accepted and rejected samples under agreed conditions?
