I'm working out what I'd want on a drawing for a replaceable locating insert in a robot fixture. The temptation is to dimension the little block and call it done. Then I think about somebody making it without the original nest beside them...
Which assembly views would you include so its purpose is clear? I'm not asking anyone to pick tolerances without the application. More interested in what helps the next machinist understand which surfaces actually matter.
