Our FR5 bracket nest touches the bend before the pads

The bend is hitting first. I put our ordinary steel sensor brackets in the proposed FR5 nest and some never reach the support pads, yet the tooling reply is still about buying a stronger clamp. I've asked quality to compare those bends with the current part drawing. What else belongs in that comparison before the designer changes anything?
