Same retained trim plate, different bright stripe after reseating. Our UR5e example folder calls both scratches.

Have quality inspect the identified plate itself and state the viewing method. Keep the full frames, but exclude the unsupported labels from tuning until their meaning is settled.

Quality has it. Full frames show a different seating position, not just a different stripe.

Who loads the plates for these captures? I'd like that person at the holder review, because the difference may be easy for the designer to miss while placing everything exactly as intended.

And keep the physical surface decision separate from the presentation fix. A more repeatable holder can improve the images without making a real faint defect visible.

Jo, our technician loads them and is joining tooling. Quality accepted this plate; a faint reject is retained too.

Use both in the later comparison. Otherwise the accepted bright surface may drive a setting that hides the reject along with the glare.

Can the technician recognise the intended seating from the normal loading position, Thomas? A photograph taken from the designer's favourite angle may not help at the bench.

One stop is hidden. Tooling is reviewing visibility and contact, not just adding a label.

No revised holder trial yet. Guessed scratch labels are out of the working set; history retained.

Tell the trainer where the corrected working set lives as well. An old attached slide can keep teaching the guessed label after the master folder has been put right.
