I took the labelled lid off our proposed FR10 housing insert and could no longer tell which family was fitted; either family also fits backwards, so I want tooling and controls to connect the installed arrangement to the recipe before we turn that lid into an operator instruction

Try the wrong family, reversed fit and removed-insert cases on paper with both designers first. Ask what physically prevents an incorrect seat and what identifies the fitted family. A nicer lid label might help stores, but it cannot be the evidence after the lid is removed.
