Quoted tool is still provisional. We have the adapter drawing, but the finger length is awaiting the toolmaker. Door shown shut in the only machine model.

Then get the actual door positions measured. No point polishing a robot layout around a door that isn't where the job needs it

Machine supplier is supplying the open-door details. Toolmaker offered a maximum proposed tool envelope while the fingers are being designed. Useful for screening, I think.

Useful while it is clearly provisional. Put the envelope revision beside any comparison, so purchasing does not carry a screening result into the final order.

Yes. Ours nearly left a fixture change needing access through the proposed base. Lovely unloading route, impossible ordinary maintenance. Ask the setter to walk through the drawing before the base becomes sacred.

Gabriel, did moving the base solve yours or did the tool have to change too?

We didn't reach a final arrangement in that review. Got the toolmaker involved and stopped the base decision. Still waiting on the revised combination, so I can't offer a magic new position.

Our setter marked the fixture removal route. It crosses the first base location. Designer is comparing another location, with the open door now included.

Can the setter still reach the fixings there, not just move the fixture past it?

That is being checked. Moving the base clears the removal route on paper, but I have not called the service access acceptable yet.

Ask the toolmaker to confirm whether the provisional envelope still covers the latest design. Several drawing changes can happen while everyone is discussing the base.

It does not. Latest fingers extend beyond the first envelope. Thank you for that check, Sara. Both candidate locations are going back through the access review.

That's frustrating, but at least the base isn't installed. Do they now have one agreed drawing set, or are revisions still arriving separately?
