UR5e inspection claim with no scope attached

I asked about the refurbishment on a used UR5e and received fresh photographs of the enclosure paint. We are considering it for molded-housing transfer, but I have no findings tied to the offered package yet. I want the inspection scope before booking a visit, not another description of how clean it looks.

Ask what was examined, repaired and excluded, with the identities of the arm, controller and pendant. Then let your assessor price the gaps. A clean enclosure can be perfectly genuine without answering the questions that decide whether this is worth buying.

The seller sent a startup checklist for the arm and controller. Pendant is not identified and repair history is blank. I have asked whether the history is unavailable or whether no repairs were done.

That distinction matters, Sofia, and I would have the assessor agree which checks the seller permits before anyone travels.

Would a limited assessment still be useful if the history is unavailable? I would ask that before treating a missing file as either harmless or an automatic rejection

Priya, yes. That is a question for the assessor with the actual package details. I would not ask them to turn absent history into a clean bill, but they may still identify enough present-condition evidence to make a buying decision.

The prospective assessor has the checklist and exclusions now. No visit booked yet. I am waiting for their proposed scope and cost before deciding whether this candidate deserves more money.
