Count against the final contents agreement, not their new description. One row per component, with expected quantity and actual received quantity. The missing adapters may be what stops kit assembly, but check the rest before making a shortage claim that turns out incomplete.

My 205-kit order has too few mounting adapters

Photograph the labels and contents while they're still associated. A sealed outer box helps describe receipt condition; it doesn't establish how many complete kits were inside or why the shortfall happened.
8分How many complete kits can stores actually issue now? Planning needs that alongside the dispute.
19分Priya's issue count must mean matched and usable kits, not just the number of adapters found. Confirm the component identities too. I would avoid distributing the loose items until stores can preserve which kit requirement each one satisfies.
16分Luis, agreed on identities, but can stores reserve complete sets now without waiting for the seller to answer the shortage?
3分Stores can reserve the verified sets separately; the shortage table is being checked against the final message, so I haven't given planning a count based only on the bag labels.
11分Is the mounting adapter supplied loose or already grouped with its matching hardware? I would keep the packing arrangement in your record. It may explain how the seller counted, even if it doesn't match the agreement.
11分Yes, Luis Ali, reserving verified sets is reasonable. I meant don't lose the reconciliation by handing out unrecorded loose pieces. Available stock and the seller's outstanding obligation are separate records.
14分And make your requested response specific: reconcile the invoice and final kit contents against the received table, then explain how they propose to supply the shortfall. Another message saying pieces is not a component-by-component answer.
14分Loose bags, Toby. We photographed their markings before sorting and the second count confirms an adapter shortage. I've sent the reconciliation with the invoice and contents message, asking for the missing quantity to be supplied.
24分Don't infer who caused it from the packing. You've got evidence of what arrived and what was agreed; whether it was a count error, a changed interpretation or something else still needs an answer.
15分Any agreement to send adapters, or only acknowledgement of your table?
18分They acknowledged the table but repeated that the order quantity is pieces; no replenishment agreed, so the missing-adapter line remains open and stores has only released checked complete sets.
4分Keep that restricted issue arrangement in the shift note too, because loose leftovers can look like another ready kit when someone arrives late
11分Have they addressed the final contents message at all? I would ask them to explain that exact agreement, rather than start a fresh argument over what kit usually means.
10分That's the hinge, Toby. Yasmin doesn't need a dictionary definition. She needs their answer to the quantity and contents they confirmed for this purchase, with a concrete proposal for the missing adapters.
11分No answer to that message yet; I've put its date and agreed contents directly beside the shortage request, and asked the sales contact to address it rather than restate the order total.
14分Leave the unresolved quantity visible when planning the tray jobs. Buying replacements elsewhere might become an option, but it would need its own compatibility, availability and cost decision; it should not silently erase this shortage from the order record.
