I've already asked for incoming fit-up to be kept with the bracket results. Now I have two released readings for the same sample, taken from different supports. One passes, one doesn't. Which method should our FR5 fixture comparison use before anybody blames the fixture?
Quality found one inspector resting it on the gusset rather than the specified locating faces. They're checking which old sheets used that method. No new fixture decision yet.
Amy, I would have both inspectors try the agreed method on the retained samples before you write a replacement instruction. A diagram can look clear to its author while the person holding an awkward bracket finds another apparently sensible way to rest it.
