Which revision did packaging actually approve, Yasmin?
12分They commented on P5. The wider gaps are in P6. Their note was preliminary, not approval, although the email forwarding it used approved in the subject.

6分Show the release positions with the open gripper on P6 too, so the operator review is looking at the same spaces the tool supplier needs.
4分Our tool supplier used the empty gripper width in the pallet file once. Check yours against the jaws actually holding a carton, not just open and shut in free air.
6分A filled case would help that meeting, because our carton ends bulged more than the flat drawing suggested and the gaps looked different with real samples
