Which finger touches first, and is that from a clear view or somebody's impression across the bench?

Housing flat in the tray, crooked after finger contact

Left finger, clear side clip. I checked the before-contact seat separately after a similar question here
16分Good, that narrows the story. Has maintenance compared the actual contact profiles and mounting, rather than assuming a matched pair because both fingers came out of one bag?
12分Were the fingers changed before the first point edit, Rick? I'd like the changes in order before anybody rolls the program back to something called original
19分Our measurements got clearer when we kept one identified part through the first comparison. Keep Rick's filmed housing available, then widen the sample once maintenance knows what it is comparing.
10分Finger replacement preceded the edits. Same filmed housing retained. Maintenance hasn't identified the fitted pair yet
-9分Does the issue record name a left and right part, or just one kit reference?
24分Hassan, either can be legitimate. The question is whether the physical parts match the intended assembly. A very detailed label can still accompany the wrong thing.
21分I know. I'm trying to find what maintenance can compare it with, not let the label win the argument.
15分While they're looking, keep the edit reasons too if anyone remembers them. Left a bit isn't much of a handover for whoever reviews the restored setup
16分Kit reference only. Toolmaker has the photos and markings. Point versions saved, reasons patchy
-2分Then leave the missing reasons missing. I've seen a tidy retrospective explanation become more trusted than the awkward observation that started the work.
9分Exactly. You don't need everyone to remember a perfect history before inspecting a visibly wrong grip. Just don't pretend the inspection answers every historical question either
21分Toolmaker identified one different-profile replacement finger. Correct pair requested. No restored setup tested yet
12分Who is checking the spare kit on the shelf? Would be annoying to repeat this at the next wear change
13分And who owns the physical-assembly check when the correct pair arrives? Don't leave that as a parcel arriving followed by somebody trying the old offsets.
13分Beth, that spare-kit question is worth asking now. Quarantining a suspect spare while it's identified is a lot cheaper than commissioning the same fault twice
9分Rick, when it is ready, compare the retained housing and other relevant samples under the reviewed setup. Please post what changes, not only that new fingers arrived.
