Panel flex and double pickup absent from the vacuum report

I have a bench seal report for the proposed UR5e vacuum tool, but our aluminium enclosure panels will come from a stack. I would like the review to cover the supported shape throughout transfer and how we establish that the nest receives one panel, rather than treating sealing as the whole result.

Need the stack condition represented in the trial request. Surface film, separators and storage can change what comes up together. Would also want the person handling an uncertain pickup named, rather than leaving that job in a footnote

Our normal stack has protective film on the panels and no separate interleaves. The report used one panel on a flat bench; it does not describe a pickup from that stack.

Ask the tool designer to show the support points against the real panel shape. A panel can hold a seal and still bend between those points. I would want any proposed support changes assessed for release into your nest too.

The proposed cup locations sit inside the broad flat area, with two long edges extending beyond them. I cannot tell from the bench photograph what those edges do during transfer.

A side view during an agreed representative handling trial would help with that. Need a definition of unacceptable flex first, though; visible movement is not automatically damage, and an overhead video could miss it altogether

For the single-panel question, have them propose a detection method and show what happens with deliberate doubles and uncertain readings. I wouldn't choose the sensor from this thread. The film and panel geometry need to be part of that decision.

Yes, and the uncertain case must not quietly count as a successful delivery. That matters to our operators more than which sensor wins the sales discussion

We found a lifted edge only after changing our inspection view. I'd agree where and when shape is checked, including after release rather than just under vacuum.

Omar, that after-release check is useful. We have argued about harmless deflection before and then failed to inspect the part where the next operation actually needed it

Julia and Omar, I have added an agreed viewing method and the released condition to the request. Nora, the designer still owes us the single-panel proposal. No handling trial has been arranged yet.
