Define its questions, deliverables, staff allowance and stop point before pricing any physical pilot.
6分We have agreed to compare preparation through the finished tray, including interruptions. The designer is pricing options and a review, not production tooling. My colleague's time allowance still needs agreement.

Keep that allowance unresolved in the total. Agreeing the task doesn't make his time free.
