Our manual sleeve-loading sheet has exposed lengths but no blank lengths or end-condition notes. That's a thin basis for blaming seating in the planned FR10 job. I want a small comparison we can do with the setter and inspector before anyone pays for an automatic-loading trial.
Have the setter name one measurement reference, then link each reading to the same blank's length and end condition. Repeat loadings of identified blanks will be more useful than a column of unrelated numbers.
Agreed with the setter and inspection. One reference, each blank identified, length and the end meeting the stop recorded. Repeated loadings will keep separate entries under that blank. We haven't run the comparison yet, and automatic loading is still outside the authorised work.
