What should our FR5 panel trial show at the receiving fixture?

The loose access panel seals against the proposed vacuum tool, but in the supplier's bench video its free edge droops below the fixture lip before release. Our panels arrive stacked, so I have two concerns: getting one sheet, and placing it without someone guiding the edge by hand.

Ask them to represent the receiving fixture and the panel support through placement, including tool withdrawal. If the bench test needs a hand under that edge, it has not demonstrated your proposed transfer.

There is a hand in the clip, briefly. I had thought it was just steadying the fixture, but it is supporting the panel corner. I've asked them to explain that step.

Was somebody also separating each panel before the clip starts, Maya, or did you see it leave an actual stack?

I would ask for the untrimmed recording before paying for another trial. You may learn a lot from what happens just outside the chosen start and end points.

Full recording shows a person handing over one panel. No stack pickup. The supplier agrees the video only demonstrates the seal and proposes a supported tool for the fuller trial.

A supported tool could help, but find out whether the support can leave the fixture without lifting or dragging the panel. I mean leave after placement, not just fit in while carrying it.

Sarah, yes. I'd want the proposed support and the fixture drawn together before they make it. The lip already causing trouble is likely to matter during withdrawal too.

And where does a suspected pair go, because I would not want that decision left to whoever happens to be standing nearest?

We have asked for an identified stopped-recovery position for uncertain pickups. The proposed single-sheet check has not been tested with our stacked panels yet, so that remains part of the trial.

Thank you for checking the full recording. That little hand was doing a surprisingly large part of the job. Did they charge for the supported-tool proposal?

No charge for this proposal, Mei. Its section shows a support rail colliding with the fixture lip on withdrawal, which our fixture designer spotted. They are revising it before making hardware.

Useful catch. I would rather argue over that section than watch somebody discover it with a panel hanging from the tool.

Has the revision changed the fixture or the tool, Maya? Either may be reasonable, but it changes who supplies the work in your quote.
