Our FR5 housing sits square until the source nest is loaded

The last two pickup corrections helped our FR5 housing transfer briefly, but the grip is crooked again; looking more closely, I can see the source nest settle at one corner when the housing is put in, even though its outline has not moved on the bench.

Our old fixture looked perfectly located from the front while one support underneath had moved, so I'd have maintenance check what carries that corner before anyone teaches around it again.

Is that corner meant to move? Some supports accommodate the part after location. The drawing should tell maintenance what this one is intended to do before the visible movement gets called a fault.

Does an older retained housing make it settle too, or only the current ones?

Anika, the drawing shows a fixed support there; Jane, the retained housing and current samples all produce the same movement in the stationary check, so maintenance is inspecting that support and its mounting.

Who is handling the job while that check is open? The next shift needs something clearer than pickup adjusted again.

Fixed support, understood. Ask them to compare its attachment and actual contact face with the drawing. Movement can be in the mounting even when the visible pad looks fine.

Elena's point is worth answering now, Sarah; a good investigation still leaves the covering person with a bad handover if the only note is maintenance looking.

Elena and Imran, the cell owner has paused this transfer and arranged the existing manual handling route; the handover names maintenance and the open source-support check, with the pickup versions retained for the integrator.

What did maintenance find at the attachment?

The replaceable support shoe has a cracked locating shoulder underneath, which lets it tip in its pocket; maintenance has identified it against the drawing and referred the replacement and mounting check to tooling.

That is a concrete finding. I would also ask what damaged the shoulder before treating a new shoe as the entire answer. Is there a handling or installation history for it?

And is the replacement a stocked item or something to make? That affects what the shift plan can realistically promise.

Elena, tooling has the specified replacement in stock; Anika, maintenance found an earlier removal note after a jam but no condition check before refitting, so the cause of the crack is still not established.

Then don't let the old jam become a proven cause just because it's the only story in the folder; keep the missing refit check as its own handover problem.

Has the mounting pocket been checked as well as the shoe?

Yes, Jane, maintenance found the pocket within the drawing requirement and fitted the specified shoe; the retained and current housings now sit on the intended supports without that corner movement in the static comparison.

Who is assessing the saved point changes before the transfer returns? A level source nest does not choose the right job version for you.

Has the manual cover arrangement stayed in place until that transfer check is complete?

Anika, the integrator has the versions and measured findings for the full pickup-to-release check; Elena, manual cover remains, and thanks for keeping that visible while we got interested in the broken shoe.

Has anyone tried the revised support inspection from the fitted position, Sarah, so the next refit doesn't need the person who found this crack standing beside it?
