I am comparing two FR10 positions for unloading our brass blanks and the one with the nicer approach needs the tool to pass beside the mill door. We have measured the opening in its working position now. I still only have a centreline drawing of the gripper.
Yes, and that outline has ruled out the nicer approach. The rear fitting sits where we had imagined free space beside the door. We are keeping the other position for the next layout check, so at least the comparison has lost one bad option.
