Our FR10 packing quote has a fixture allowance nobody owns

The sensor-module loading estimate keeps growing, and I'm fine with real costs being added. What bothers me is the presentation fixture: supplier calls it customer scope, our toolroom calls it undefined, and the spreadsheet gives it a neat allowance anyway. How do I show that honestly beside the other proposal?

Label it unpriced customer scope until the fixture task is defined, and keep any internal budget allowance separate from a supplier price. Ask your toolroom what information they need to estimate it, including the actual box presentation and changeover. A tidy placeholder is still a guess.

Toolroom needs the two box versions and the proposed loading orientation before estimating. We've put those decisions on the study list, split our internal allowance from quoted costs and stopped presenting either offer as a complete cell total.
