Possibly different checks. Does the sheet say what each gauge measures, or only give the numbers? I would not combine the results yet.
12分G12 beside fit-up. G18 beside final. Both have an angle symbol, no sketch.
16分An angle symbol is not much to go on. Ask quality for the gauge instructions and the drawing revision used with those sheets.
4分Our old paperwork used adjustment for a whole extra operation. Could G18 be used after correction? What do the notes immediately before that check say?
-1分Stores may still have both gauges. Number on a sheet is easier to understand with the lump of metal beside it.
4分Nina, correction is listed before G18. Maya, stores has G12 but G18 is marked transferred to quality.
18分Then the good final results may include that correction. Still need to know which faces each gauge contacts before explaining the difference.
8分Ask quality where transferred actually means. Ours has occasionally meant somebody's drawer rather than the location on the card.
21分We had an old gauge card keep its original picture after a contact was replaced. Compare G12 with its card while you've got it out; stores records don't update themselves, despite some optimistic beliefs about us.

13分Quality found G18. It supports the loose bracket. G12 checks components sitting in the weld fixture.
3分Drawing was revision F. The proposed FR10 fixture uses H; quality is checking what changed between them.
6分Nina, the contact was visibly longer once we compared it with the card photo. We still needed the drawing to establish whether that was intended. Caleb, worth checking yours even with the two gauge purposes explained.
