Trim-plate streak travels while the scratch label stays put

Whole views are available. Quality found one accepted plate with the travelling stripe and a separate plate with an edge scratch. The scratch is faint in the current camera view, so the attractive picture isn't helping much.

Keep both for the comparison, because reducing the harmless stripe would be a poor improvement if that faint scratch disappears too

And ask the loader to show how the plate seats in the intended holder, since the camera comparison needs a repeatable presentation that somebody can actually achieve on shift.

Agreed. Fixed seating for the first lighting comparison, then repeat seating as its own check. Record which condition produced each image.

Rebecca, is there a useful view of the seating contact for the operator on your fixtures? Ours often hides the bit everyone is supposed to inspect

Sometimes we need tooling to change the view or access, rather than write a better instruction; I would not assume Harish's holder has that problem, but it is worth asking the person who loads it.

Our loader can see the side stop but not the rear contact. Tooling is reviewing that. Thanks Rebecca, it was easy to say repeatable seating when the person doing it couldn't see half the seat.

Keep the confirmed parts and capture conditions while the holder is reviewed. Do not quietly replace the awkward rejected plate with an easier example.
