My drilled aluminium brackets don't seat consistently on the proposed multi-contact FR5 nest. Stronger clamp suggested. What should I check before approving tooling that may be fighting the parts?
Have the designer map intended locating contacts against the drawing datums and actual sample variation, including burrs and conflicting contacts; clamp force should not conceal an unresolved locating scheme.
