Why does our FR10 exit sketch stop inside the machine?

We're looking at an FR10 for removing aluminium rounds. The supplier has drawn the grip and the lift, then an arrow straight through the open door's handle. I asked about it and got a reach diagram back. Anyone found a cheap way to make this particular problem obvious?

Can you make a full-size outline of the loaded tool?

I've cut one from packing board. With the blank sticking out, it catches the handle exactly where I thought. No arm involved, just holding the outline against the measured doorway.

Send that photograph with the handle dimension marked.

They've suggested turning the tool before it reaches the door. Fine, but that turn is inside the machine and their new picture still shows only the final angle. I'm getting a collection of poses here.

Does your outline have room to turn there?

Not in the space they've drawn. Sent photos from above as well. They've agreed the toolmaker needs to look at the route, so thanks for the cardboard suggestion. Much easier to argue about something you can point at.

Keep the outline. Useful when the next tool drawing arrives.
