Our blank sheet measures stick-out and calls it seating

The brass sleeve blanks don't all stick out equally in the hand-loading check for our FR5 proposal. The sheet records nothing about individual blank length or the end presented to the stop. I can't teach a distinction we haven't measured.

Can you link each stick-out reading to that blank's length and identified end?

Yes. Inspection has retained the blanks and numbered them. Setting team will record the loading arrangement beside the paired measurements.

Check the end condition too. A length number won't show what touched the stop.

Would photos of both ends help the trainer? I mean alongside inspection's actual findings, not as a substitute for checking them.

They did. One blank has a damaged end and is excluded pending quality's decision. On the conforming group, different lengths explain the different stick-out under the same verified seating arrangement.

Will the sheet stop treating every stick-out difference as a seating failure?

And retain the damaged one for the investigation.

Sheet revised, Luis, and damaged blank retained, Jo. Trainer now has separate examples of length variation and an end needing investigation. The automatic loading method still needs its own assessment.
