Our FR10 puck grip is crooked after a pad change

Same part number on both backs. I have the drawing here, but nobody measured the fitted faces after the change.
12分Was it already leaning before those pads went on? Trying to understand why people started moving the pickup point.
8分The old pair was worn and occasionally slipped. This sideways lean started with the new pair. Different problem, same proposed cure.
20分Then do not let the old slipping fault explain the new lean by default.
0分Check what is behind the pads too. I once issued the correct pair and still got a crooked tool back; a packing shim had stayed under one old pad. The number on the new part was perfectly correct.
-6分Which tray pockets did you actually see it happen in? The pad change is a decent lead, but if everyone has been picking from one convenient corner, you haven't compared much of the tray yet.
3分Any photo showing both pad seats before they were covered up?
7分JuliaBaker, the clips show it at both ends of the tray. Thomas, no useful installation photo. Maintenance has found a thin washer trapped behind one pad, so Bruno's story was uncomfortably close.
8分A washer where the pad should sit flat would get my attention (before the arm gets another telling-off).
20分Was it loose packing or part of the fastening arrangement? Ours was a deliberate old adjustment. I wouldn't assume yours belongs in the bin until the tool drawing explains it.
21分And who owns all those saved pickup versions now?
6分Bruno, the drawing shows direct seating there; maintenance says the washer slipped behind during fitting. Priya, the programmer has the versions and is comparing them with the setup before the pad change. Tool is off the cell for correction.
2分Would checking the pad faces off the tool have spotted that? I was thinking of asking stores to measure every pair.
11分Not that particular fitting error, Ella. Check what stores supplies, certainly, but somebody still needs to inspect the assembled tool. Otherwise you can certify two lovely pads and assemble them badly.
21分Drawing in the fitting job would help more than another inspection of the bag
20分Put the assembly check where the person changing the pads will see it. A note in the programmer's folder won't help the next fitter, especially when production wants the tool back quickly.
6分The corrected assembly sits square against our bench sample. Thanks, Bruno, for the behind-the-pad suggestion. The cell check still has to cover approach, grip and placement with the reviewed program; we haven't run that yet.
9分Please come back with the cell result. Bench improvement is a useful start.
