Our FR10 proposal has no correction bench, but the old bracket sheets mention straightening after release. Awkward omission.

We once inherited tooling adjustments that lived in the operator's head. Before deleting that bench from the process, find out how often it was used and what it corrected. Is the new proposal promising to remove that work?

It doesn't mention the work at all. I think everyone assumed the new fixture would cure it.

That's a fairly expensive assumption. Ask whoever owns the welding process for the evidence behind it.

The old job sheets may at least show how much correction time to allow. Can planning find those while quality investigates the released dimensions?

Planning found bench hours against several batches. Quality is checking which readings came before straightening. Thanks, that helps explain why the layout question matters.

I'd reserve space until you've settled the process. Doesn't mean committing to keep every old workaround forever.

Has the welding lead explained whether the corrections were routine or confined to a particular material batch? That might change the space and staffing discussion.

We found one correction routine belonged to an obsolete bracket variant. Check the part references before budgeting all the old bench hours into the new job.
