Our UR5e tooling crate is missing behind a delivered consignment

Arm crate received, separately marked tooling crate missing from our consolidated UR5e shipment. The carrier page says delivered and our receipt has package counts nobody explains consistently. Seventeen days querying the unnamed Chinese seller and carrier so far. I need the tooling crate traced by its mark, not another confirmation that something arrived.

Can receiving preserve the original receipt and explain which physical packages they counted, without changing it to match the carrier page?

And which handover last names the tooling crate itself? Consignment-level tracking may stop being useful before the final delivery leg, particularly if packages were split in consolidation.

Naomi, originals retained; the receiver remembers one pallet with the arm crate but can't explain the printed two packages. Jack, I only have the seller's packing list naming the tooling crate, no handover receipt naming it.

Our missing pendant crate was located at a depot by its identifier. Have they searched the tooling mark?

Sarah, useful example, but Ravi shouldn't assume his is also at a depot. I'd ask the forwarder to trace the named crate through their own handovers, and keep installation planning aware the tooling isn't here.

Could two packages describe the original booking rather than what the driver unloaded?

Ben's question could explain the printed count, although only the carrier can establish what that field meant on Ravi's receipt.

The carrier says the printed two came from the booking, not a delivery count. Our forwarder has found an origin collection receipt naming both crate marks, and is asking the destination warehouse for its unloading record. Installation planner knows the tooling is missing.

Does the destination warehouse search use the same crate mark or a new internal number?

Good question, Beatrice. If the warehouse relabelled the freight, Ravi needs the cross-reference attached to the search. Another internal number without its link just gives everyone a second way to miss the crate.

Beatrice and Jack, they used an internal number linked to the arm mark for both entries. Warehouse has now photographed the separate tooling crate with its original mark visible. It's physically there, not merely an expected incoming line.

Who arranges its onward delivery now that they've identified it?

And tell receiving to expect that specific crate separately. Otherwise the second delivery can get parked as an unidentified extra while the main order already says received.

Sarah, the forwarder owns the delivery booking and has confirmed carriage without another charge to us. Will, receiving has the mark and contents list. We have a booked collection, not delivery yet.

Retain the warehouse identification and the corrected explanation of the original count; finding the crate should not erase why the receipt failed to describe your delivery.

Tooling crate arrived and receiving matched the mark and checked the kit contents against the agreed list. Nothing missing inside. Thanks Beatrice for the internal-number question; that was where the forwarder's search had stopped distinguishing our two crates.

Useful to hear the contents were checked as well as the crate received; that gives the installation team a much firmer update than the original delivered status.
