Cannot plan FR5 adapter replacement around 'another shipment'

Our installed FR5 housing-tool adapter is present and identified. Its promised spare is not. The seller sent a photo of a bag of fasteners as an answer to the missing-kit request. I cannot tell maintenance that we have replacement cover from that photo. Or even that an adapter is packed. What would make the next request harder to dodge?

Name the missing adapter separately and ask whether it is physically ready to dispatch. The fastener photo answers a different part of the kit.

I've done that. Their answer says the adapter is being prepared, while the fasteners can go now. No parcel details for either.

Keep the two supply states separate in the maintenance handover, and ask whether splitting the shipment leaves you paying additional carriage before agreeing to it.

I'd also ask what 'prepared' means here. Made, sourced, packed? They've given you a verb where you need a status.

Not yet sourced, apparently. They have confirmed that now. I have asked for an exact replacement reference so our installer can price an alternative.

Have the installer check that reference against the identified fitted assembly before an alternative is ordered; the original missing-item obligation should remain open during that comparison.
