sensor bracket nest with competing contacts

I have asked for a visible seating check on our UR5e sensor-bracket nest. The harder question: which contacts should locate it before the clamp closes?

Have the designer relate each intended locating contact to the bracket drawing, then compare identified samples without using clamp force to hide a rock; the visible check needs a sound seating condition to recognise.

One sample touches both side pads. Another rocks between a side pad and the base.

Are those samples within the same permitted geometry, Zara, or is the rocking one still awaiting inspection?

Keep both for the designer regardless, but Grace is right that the answer affects whether the nest or the incoming sample needs attention.

Inspection is checking both against the same revision. No result yet.

Does the proposed nest contact the formed bend as well as the intended flat faces? That may be useful for the designer to see in your bench photographs.

Yes, near one side pad. Photograph added to the review; stronger clamp proposal remains unapproved.

Ask the designer to explain that bend contact when the measurements return, rather than simply relieving whichever point looks awkward first.
