Our proposed FR10 mounting-bracket nest touches the base pads and a flange support, but the retained brackets settle on different contacts before clamping; I want the fixture designer to identify which surfaces locate and which only support before purchasing a stronger clamp to conceal the disagreement.
Compare the first contacts of the retained brackets against the intended locating scheme with the designer. Mark any flange or shoulder contact that prevents the required pads being reached. A static comparison can expose that conflict before anyone spends money on clamp force.
