Is the sheet specified yet, or are people costing a generic one?

the sheet option adds another changeover

Still generic. Packaging is comparing candidates. I know that leaves the cost provisional; I want the work list ready.
2分Include bringing sheets to the station and dealing with the leftovers at product change. Easy to count a replenishment from a stack placed beside the tool. Less easy when somebody has to fetch that stack and find a home for the previous size
17分Could you compare the two carton sizes separately first? I would rather see one useful case and one poor case than an average which convinces nobody who actually handles either product.
3分Yes. And show who changes the sheet stack, not just how long the arm waits
9分Noah, are the two sizes changed during a shift or run in separate batches?
6分We kept two similar consumables in adjacent bins and still managed to issue the wrong one. Different sizes may be obvious, but I would ask receiving how the proposed sheets will be identified before assuming the operator can tell.
22分Separate batches, Elliot, sometimes both in one shift. Sam, yes, separate comparisons make sense. Our smaller carton is most of the work and barely gains anything from the sheet pattern.
4分We nearly let a clever rare-case fixture dictate our everyday job. I'd keep the simple pattern prominent for that smaller carton. You can still find out whether the larger one earns the extra handling without making it everyone's default
9分Gabriel, agreed, though the shared changeover effort still belongs somewhere. Noah, how would you show a shift which switches between the two instead of running either all day?
12分As a separate mixed-shift example, I reckon. Keep the per-product results readable, then show what switching adds. Include interrupted sheet replenishment too, if that ends up part of the assessed method
10分And hold the support decision open while packaging compares those sheet candidates.
9分Pavel, good point about stores. Big and small stops helping when two suppliers trim them differently
9分Thanks Julia, mixed shift is the missing example. I've added fetching and returning sheet stock. The smaller-carton option stays sheet-free for comparison; nothing selected until support and tool access are reviewed.
17分Jane, exactly. Our bin names outlived the parts they originally described. Noah may have perfectly distinct sheets; I just wouldn't let our sort of vague stock name become the proposed instruction.
2分Noah, who deals with leftover cartons when the shift changes size before finishing a pallet?
