Turned carton ends above the FR10 finger channels

I have the packed-carton sections beside our FR10 pallet plan now, and the turned cartons put their loaded ends over channels the tool designer wants for withdrawal; I can't approve the layer count while packaging and tooling are each drawing the other person's problem as empty space.

What happens to an order that stops halfway through this pattern? I ask because the operator usually meets that pallet, not the complete one in the proposal.

Dispatch moves part-finished pallets to a holding position on the same pallet, Nadia; the plan only shows full layers, so I've asked them to include our routine partial orders.

Is packaging's support comment for the packed construction shown, or for an older carton? That caught my eye before the count did.

A section through a loaded end and its withdrawal channel should make the conflict easier to discuss. Do that against the current tool revision before asking for a different machine or a new pallet size.

Theo, the section helps support, but I still need to know what work is being handed to dispatch. A partial pallet can fit the picture and be a nuisance to finish.

Farah, current packed construction, confirmed by packaging; Theo, tooling is adding those sections, and Nadia, dispatch wants any proposal to include where the remaining cartons would be handled.

Could a lower-count layer leave the bearing areas supported and still give the fingers an exit, if dispatch can live with the extra pallets?

Worth comparing, Jo, provided withdrawal is shown for that arrangement too. Fewer cartons do not automatically create space in the direction the tool needs to leave.

I'd price that option before dismissing it. An impressive count with somebody finishing every awkward order by hand isn't necessarily the cheaper arrangement.

The lower-count option is now in the comparison, not approved; dispatch says extra pallets have a cost but is willing to review it alongside the proposed finishing work.

Is the original layout still being offered with a support sheet?

Luca, who would supply and replenish sheets if that becomes the proposal? I don't want 'sheet provided' hiding another task in the operator column.

No sheet has been proposed here, Jo and Nadia; the current choices are revised withdrawal space at the original count or the lower-count arrangement, both still awaiting the combined check.

That is enough alternatives for a useful comparison. Keep the current carton construction and tool identity on both, so a change made to solve one layout is not quietly credited to the other.

Understood, I introduced the sheet. Strike that question from the actual options.

Have the partial orders reached the new drawings, Luca, or are they still just in the meeting notes?

They're in the new drawings now, including the holding position; packaging has asked for one extra section on the lower-count option, so neither layout has its final agreement yet.

Who from dispatch is reviewing those drawings? The person finishing the order might spot something the pallet count comparison misses.

Our regular packer and the shift lead are both included, Nadia; the packer has already asked where the empty tool waits while a partial pallet is moved, which is still unanswered.
