Give each physical plate an ID. Have whoever owns cosmetic acceptance mark the defect location on a separate sketch, then photograph the same plate under the proposed setup. Keep the borderline ones too
6分Cheers, the separate sketch is the missing bit; I've been trying to point at glare in a photograph to explain why the photograph is misleading.
20分Any physical check on the plate called deeply scratched? Moving glare can sit over a real mark. Would not relabel that one from the lamp experiment alone
11分There is a small nick near the edge, nothing where the long streak was labelled; quality has kept the nick as the defect and we've retired that particular long-streak label, not the whole plate.
11分Did the revised lighting still show the nick after removing and reseating the plate? That's where I'd want the next image set, before spending time on thresholds
