released bracket dimensions missing from the correction explanation

I am reviewing historical gusseted-bracket records for an FR5 fixture proposal: aligned while restrained, outside requirement after release, then unexplained correction. How should incoming fit-up, locating and final acceptance be separated before that routine is inherited? No live welding adjustments.

Trace identified brackets through the recorded stages, retaining drawing and fixture revisions plus measurement datums and support conditions. Ask the former process owner to explain what correction actually involved, but keep missing before-and-after readings missing rather than derive them from final acceptance.

Final acceptance is recorded after correction, but the intermediate readings are not linked to individual brackets. I have requested the route explanation and incoming checks without assigning a correction quantity.

Keep the fixture's locating purpose with any revision information you recover too. A changed contact dimension is evidence of a change, but it won't explain why it was made or establish the released result by itself.
