our fr5 puck starts leaning before the tray moves

The aluminium puck now tips in the fingers during pickup, and the latest correction has joined two earlier point changes. The tray still looks fixed, but nobody has inspected its pocket seats. I'd like maintenance to find the change before we add a fourth explanation in coordinates.

Does the puck sit flat before the fingers touch it?

Not in the affected pocket. A thin gap is visible under one edge before contact, which I had missed when looking at the tray base.

Compare the affected puck in another checked pocket and an accepted puck in this one during the bench inspection. That should help separate the part from the seat without teaching around either.

The lean follows the pocket. Tooling found a raised edge on its replaceable insert. Both pucks sit flat in the checked pocket, and quality accepted their locating faces.

Does the insert match its drawing?

And find whether that edge was made that way or damaged later. I wouldn't order a duplicate until tooling has compared the contact detail with the intended seat.

It is impact damage on the fitted insert, not the drawing shape. Tooling has approved replacement to the existing drawing. Thanks, Fiona, the cross-comparison was quick and very clear.

Who reviews the accumulated pickup changes after replacement?

Our integrator has the saved versions and the inspection finding. Replacement, compensation review and full transfer checks are still ahead; the bench comparison has given them a specific fault to work from.
