Keep the original trial as evidence for that original assembly, then ask for the changed sample position and receiving-pocket access to be assessed together. A relief clearing the rib can still alter where the rest of the housing goes.
20分Toolmaker says exactly that, contact clears the rib but the housing shoulder moves towards the pocket wall. We're asking the seller for the complete supplied assembly drawing.
20分Will the same pickup and placement instructions apply if the changed pads are accepted? The eventual operator needs to know more than new spare reference, especially if the held housing position changes.

11分Fair point. I've asked for fulfilment of the original, not an upgrade quote. No answer yet on either that route or the replacement's full drawing.
9分Did the drawing eventually arrive? I'd be interested in whether the pocket clearance changes the proposed setup, not just whether the new pads can hold the housing.
