Our FR5 spacer starts tilting before it reaches the tray

The transfer now leaves our spacer blocks crooked in the tray. Three pickup corrections have accumulated. I watched the saved video more closely and the block already looks tilted as it leaves the source fixture, so I do not want another tray-point edit sold to us as maintenance. What should our technician compare first?

Compare how the block sits in the source fixture, then its contact with the fingers. Keep the existing program versions. On a crooked housing problem I raised, the number of corrections was growing faster than our knowledge of the contacts.

Technician found the block can sit on the fixture's corner before the fingers touch it. We have retained that sample. The contact drawing is being checked.

Is that corner intended to locate the block, or is the block catching somewhere that should be clear? More clamp force would be a poor guess while that is unanswered.

It should be clear. The source insert was remade without the corner relief shown on revision C. We have identified the supplied insert, not just compared photographs.

That gives tooling a specific discrepancy to address. Have the technician include those three pickup corrections in the return-to-service review; correcting the insert alone does not tell you which points to retain.

Replacement matches C and the block seats on the intended faces in the bench check. Program review is complete. Supervised transfer comparison remains to be done, so I have not called the handling fixed.

Did that comparison cover the samples that caught the old corner? I'd want to hear about those, not only a fresh block that was easy to load.
