Dan, agreed. We once corrected a shared copy and somebody cheerfully restored the old version from a backup. A withdrawn note saved a second argument.

Jamie, one operator handout uses them, so we've withdrawn that page. Omar, quality accepts the most dramatic plate; its bright streak has no corresponding scratch under the agreed viewing method.

What replaces the withdrawn page for the next operator? An empty slot tends to invite somebody to print whatever they can find.

Keep the retained samples out of general stock as well. Who is responsible for issuing and returning them during these comparisons?

Our holder hid the important contact from the loader even though the photograph showed it beautifully; Grace, can your loader see whether the plate is seated the same way each time?

Use the physical inspection method for the interim lesson. Don't invent a new image rule simply to fill the missing page while the presentation is unresolved.

So the corrected labels can be used now; the holder still needs work.

And use the confirmed reject in the next holder comparison, not just the now-accepted shiny plate; an easier seat should still expose the flaw you need to find.
