We drew the proposed FR5 beside our steel-blank machine with the door shut. Then somebody opened it and stood exactly where the gripper was meant to wait. Not a promising start.
I'd like to bring a decent set of measurements to the supplier before we discuss moving the base. What did you find was missing from your first machine-access sketch?
The complete held tool, including fittings, is often absent; measure the actual open-door outline and fixture location too, then ask for entry and withdrawal on that same layout.
The air fitting is a good catch. Our proposed tool picture ends at the gripper body, and the door has an inside handle missing from the outline. I'll include both rather than draw another optimistic waiting point.
And include the setter's working space before comparing base positions, because clearing the door with the robot does not necessarily leave a workable changeover.
