Cannot plan our FR5 arrival from two different freight references

Our seller says the FR5 and tray gripper were handed to its freight agent. Agent says waiting for warehouse receipt under another reference. After 23 days I still cannot give our shared workshop a location, never mind an arrival date. What joins these two accounts?

Ask who physically collected it and where they delivered it, with a record linking the package marks to both references. Seller handover and agent warehouse intake may be separate stages. Two confident messages can leave a very large gap between them.

Seller supplied a collection receipt with our crate marks. It names a local carrier, not the agent's warehouse. Agent now says its reference is the intended onward booking. Asked carrier for the actual delivery destination, because that booking does not locate our crate.

That narrows the gap to the local movement. Get the receiving party's acknowledgement too; a destination written before departure isn't a completed delivery. I wouldn't allocate workshop unloading time from an onward booking with no intake yet.

Carrier's delivery record led to a holding warehouse used by the seller. Warehouse staff checked our crate marks and confirmed it is there; the freight agent hasn't collected it. At least we have a location now. Seller is arranging the next movement, with no collection confirmation yet.

So the seller's first handover was real but not the handover you needed for onward freight. Keep that warehouse confirmation with the linked references. Your next useful event is agent collection or intake, not another copy of the booking.
