Our FR5 arm crate arrived without the tooling crate shown strapped beside it in the dispatch photograph. The consolidated freight receipt records one pallet. I cannot tell where the smaller crate was removed.
Did you photograph the pallet before unpacking? That may help compare what arrived with the dispatch picture, though it won't by itself show where anything went missing.
I'd send both pictures and that mark to the forwarder, asking for records at each repacking point. Or first ask whether they have documented any repacking at all.
Forwarder confirms a pallet rebuild after damage to the pallet base. They supplied no item count for that operation. I have requested the warehouse record.
Can I ask whether the tooling crate had its own package number, because a trace against the overall order may keep returning the arm's delivered status?
I'd ask that warehouse to check first, since they rebuilt the pallet. Zara's separate package number could help them find it, if there is one. Might still have travelled further.
Ask the seller for the version passed to the forwarder. We've had a detailed buyer's list and a much shorter freight list that described the same shipment differently.
Our stores team once ordered replacement tooling before freight finished a trace. Then two kits arrived and nobody knew which invoice to close. Make sure purchasing knows a trace is active before they start another order.
A separate missing-crate entry with the mark should help both teams follow the same issue, especially while the main tracking page keeps saying delivered.
It appears intact externally. Onward delivery is being arranged; tooling contents remain unchecked, and I have told purchasing not to close the discrepancy on the photograph alone.
That sounds more promising. Compare the received contents with the tooling list when it arrives; locating the right outer crate gets you most of the way, but not the final check.
