I'm helping review records for a UR5e bracket job. Clamped inspection says okay. Released inspection says wrong. Next line says corrected at bench. No description of that bench, no before-and-after readings.
Someone has put the robot's repeatability in the new proposal as if that settles the whole thing. I don't see how. Where should we start looking for what the old process actually did?
Ask the welding lead and final inspector about that bench operation first. The notes don't tell you whether it corrected fit-up, distortion or something else.
Final inspector remembers a separate checking fixture. Welding lead is looking for its drawing. We may have been calling a check a correction in part of the paperwork.
Exactly. I've listed that question and asked for the part IDs on the old measurement sheets. No point comparing two numbers if they weren't even the same bracket.
