Our FR5 faceplate inspection proposal uses images taken with two temporary supports, and the bright streaks change between supports; should we first repeat one identified faceplate in a controlled position before treating either image group as scratch references?
Yes, and keep a sample with a confirmed unacceptable mark in that comparison too, otherwise you could choose the support that makes everything look spotless and call it progress.
