The DeepMind announcement separates Gemini Robotics from Robotics-ER and talks about trusted testers. I'm interested in the reasoning work, but I can't read this as a download that makes my choice of arm work automatically. For anyone planning an FR5 experiment: what would you want to establish before buying hardware on the strength of this research?

Separate the camera experiment from the motion controller. I'd want a proposed interface and failure behaviour on paper before discussing an arm purchase.
