I still need the spare pendant cable included with our FR10 order, although the installed cable is here and working. Purchasing says the seller promised to add it to a later delivery for another department. That department has no delivery booked. I would like to close this without giving maintenance an imaginary spare.

Ask for a separate dispatch commitment. Has the seller actually identified another order, or is next delivery only wording repeated by purchasing?
6分Purchasing forwarded the exchange. The seller suggested the other order, but we never placed it. I've asked them to send the missing cable separately and confirm its part reference.
5分That removes the mistaken dependency. Does your spares inventory already count the promised cable? It would be worth correcting that if it does.
18分It did, surprisingly. I have changed it to outstanding and told maintenance there is no physical spare on the shelf. We still have no dispatch date from the seller.
