Our inspection dashboard counts repeated attempts after restart as more finished brackets; I need to reconcile the physical bracket list with accepted dispositions without throwing away the failed attempts that explain the retries
Use the physical item identity and its reviewed disposition for the accepted-item total, keeping each inspection attempt linked separately. What does your current list show for brackets whose retry outcome is still unknown? Those should not inherit acceptance from an attempt count.
