Trace the export back to the image annotation and its physical-reference link. The corrected reference decision may not have reached the annotation set actually used by the exporter.
Have the dataset owner correct that input and check the exported examples themselves, including the confirmed scratch. Changing a file path is useful only if the resulting labels now describe the right physical pieces.
