Our FR5 support section improves while its finger exit disappears

The lower-count carton candidate now has support under the required strips. Useful. The returned drawing has also made the finger withdrawal arrows disappear. Before we choose it, who should combine the packaging decision with an actual release path? Dispatch is already costing the extra pallets.

Does your integrator own both returned sections, Nora, or are packaging and tooling each sending you a separate 'looks fine'?

Separate replies, despite the integration lead being copied. I've asked that lead to return one identified candidate with both decisions attached.

Are the proposed fingers defined well enough to draw the withdrawal?

And does the support section show the layer underneath? Our review kept gaining detail above a conveniently solid imaginary surface.

Carla, the lower layer and actual pallet are shown now. Sofia, tool body is defined but finger tips remain two alternatives. That's why the withdrawal keeps being postponed.

Then compare the two complete candidates. Don't take the easy release from one tip design and the nice carton support from the other and call it your chosen tool.

Would a priced comparison of those two tips be the next sensible purchase, rather than the tool itself? It might be cheaper than everybody redrawing their preferred half for another month.

The integrator has included that comparison in the existing study fee. One tip alternative obstructs the supported strip on withdrawal; the other has a clear route in the model. Packaging is reviewing that second complete arrangement.

What did packaging say about the partial-order arrangements with that second tip? The complete layer is not the only stack dispatch will produce.

Packaging accepted the full-layer support, but one partial arrangement needs a different finish. Dispatch and tooling are comparing that now. We have dropped the first tip alternative; the surviving one still isn't an agreed finished process.

Keep that partial-order question visible on the training drawing. Otherwise somebody will turn a partly agreed candidate into a very confident lesson.
