I can see a gap under one corner in the full image. The crop everyone was discussing cuts it off. So much for my useful arrows.

We had a small bracket sitting on a bit of trapped packing material during a trial. Took longer to argue about the readings than to find it. Can whoever loads your holder show what stops that corner going down?

The loader can see it from the side, Luca. Tooling found a loose strip of protective film underneath the sample. It was folded against the locating edge, not part of the holder.

That explains a possible seating change; have them inspect the sample surface after removing the film too, since the old physical judgement may have been made with it still there.

Nora, was it leftover shipping film, or something your people add to protect accepted samples in storage? That decides where the extra step belongs.

Leftover shipping film, Will. Quality checked the uncovered plate and still accepts it. The loader repeated the presentation in our supervised imaging check; the lifted corner is gone and the stripe stays in the same area now. It is still bright.

We've separated that seating fault from the remaining lighting question. New reference images replace the tilted ones, with the real reject plate included in the set. No threshold change yet.

Can a second loader reproduce the new presentation without being told which corner caused the earlier problem?
