I once condemned a fixture from a photograph taken with the camera tilted. Compare like views before claiming a trend, then check the physical seat and grip because your current concern may still be real.

The puck looks crooked in every new pickup video

That's what bothered me. The old view almost hides the finger contact. Recent view is looking down along the tray edge, so they aren't a matched pair at all.
7分Have you actually seen the puck tilt relative to the fingers, Theo? Not relative to the edge of the video.
8分We had a training clip rotated to make the screen readable and then used its tray edge as a level reference. Not our finest visual aid. I'd keep the old clips as history, not measurement.
7分And keep the replacement history independent of the clips. A spare issued from stores can give maintenance a lead even when a camera angle makes the old grip impossible to judge.
10分Rebecca, yes, the current puck touches one finger unevenly. I can see that at the bench. Bruno, pads were changed, but I'm still finding out where that sits among the program edits.
14分Then you have a current observation worth checking, without needing the old videos to prove a gradual decline. Let maintenance compare the pad contacts, mounting and how the puck sits before pickup.
22分Which puck, Theo? I'd mark the one you've actually watched before it disappears among thirty identical-looking examples.
19分Bruno, would you also keep the removed pads if they're still around? We tend to tidy those away as soon as new ones arrive.
16分Yes, labelled as removed parts, away from usable spares. They may explain a contact change without being fit to put back on the tool.
22分Puck marked. Removed pads are still in a maintenance bag, which is useful. I've changed my request from investigate gradual drift to inspect the uneven current contact and compare the known changes.
18分That's a better question. Is the tray seating check in it too? A good pad can't straighten a part presented at an angle without something else moving.
10分Hazel, he mentioned inspecting the contacts, but I agree the part's starting seat needs naming rather than assuming everyone means the same contacts.
10分Yes, tray location and puck seating before grip are named separately now. No findings yet. We're still arranging the inspection, not testing a repair between these replies.
11分Bruno, thanks for separating removed parts from spares. I can already picture someone helpfully putting that bag back in the wrong drawer.
18分I've met that helpful person. Sometimes it was me. A big removed-from-job note is cheaper than relying on everyone remembering why a perfectly decent-looking pad is there.
1分Theo, post the actual contact comparison when you have it. The old clips can remain inconclusive; you don't need to turn them into a history they cannot show.
